Why not discontinue putting it into 3rd? :gotme: Is there really a point to 'shifting' a stock automatic transmission? Leave it in D for all forward driving or trade up for a 6spd.

It's a lower tie bar (LTB). I'm not an expert, but it looks like it's for a B14. The 5th gen LTBs I've seen have a center area more similar to a triangle.
