help with PU bushing on control arm

hello

I am in the middle of changing the bushings on my control arm and i was wondering if u remove the metal ring around the cylinder to make the pu bushings fit?

Help with power steering belts

I tried to install new belts on my 95 max and when i tried to loosen the tension on the power steering belt, the screw that i was turning broke. How do i fix this problem the belt seems still tight...
