Didn't Steve say he was going to start a new thread with all the prices and link to his site? Just curious. Good taking initiative tho.

I'm down for a 4th gen.

Yeah, I just thought I'd just go head first and do it since I want this intake cheaper...
Anyways, Steve isn't the most punctual of dealers here on the org.

$10 off for now or $15 off if we can get 5 more people. I need to get Steve at Frankencar to confirm that though. I want to get enough people an then I'll give Steve a call saying that we're ready to buy.

Can all you guys state which methods of purchase you plan to use? Thanks.

From what I understand, that GD got held up because they didn't have any of the Apexi filters in stock. Steve told me that they do have them in stock now and that they should be able to ship as soon as we pay... I'll PM Steve to confirm what I'm saying is true.

Sounds good. I am just a perticularly impatient person. I like to receive what i pay for.

Shouldn't be too long now, go ahead and get it. You know you want it. If you don't get it now, you'll want to kick yourself in the ****.

Put me down for 2K3 Silver w/A'pexi

Now I have to say that I am in on this ONLY if Frankencar folks will ship the intakes as soon as they get the money. Meaning that they have all necessary parts to put everything in a nice, happy box and ship it to my nice, happy doorway.

outkastis - I read that thread and I, too, am now considering waiting for an answer from Frankencar to appear on that thread, or for some definitive information from someone who knows what is going on.

dude...that got me thinking too...i got an injen cai on my max now and wanna get something better...not worse. I was stupid enuff to cut the intake pipe down for a water bypass and later regret it. This is the reason i want a new intake. Those frankencars sure sounds sweet. Too bad weaponR has that crappy foam filters.

I've never heard about this problem before. I'm gonna try calling Frankencar again. They are a bish to get a hold of. I call the numbers they list as cell phones but it goes right into a message.. Hopefully I can get a hold of him tomorrow. If you guys can PM him asking about this issue, his moniker here is dmbmaxima, would probably prompt him to post.

The reason we did not start the group deal yet is because we did not have all the parts in stock that we were going to need, we do not want any backorders this time, which i hope is understandable. The group deal will be a definete GO now.
The group deal will be for 92-94 SE maximas and then all maximas from 95-2004 The pricing will be $10 off for 10-15 people and $15 off for 16+ people. We have 6 colors out now. 92-99 have polished and 2000-up have silver powdercoat. With either years you can also get black, blue, red, yellow or gunmetal powdercoat. We will do a special run of any color you want if there are at least 4 people interested and depending on color there could be an additional charge~$10/intake.
The group deal pricing will be for full intakes only. Midpipes kits will be discounted $5 for people that order with the group deal.

I will be posting the link to the payment page later tonight.
WE HAVE APEXI FILTERS IN STOCK AND READY FOR YOU.

Sweet deal. I have a question, however: is the issue with the epoxy sealed pipes addressed? There is a post on the General Forum about how an intake is coming apart at the seems, or so it seems (harhar). Any answers?
