To check to see if you have HLSD, it is on the ID plate on the firewall.

Trans Axle code for 6sp HLSD is RS6F51H...and RS6F51A for non-HLSD.

RS5F51A is definitely an Altima 5sp manual trans code without HLSD. Now, what that code is doing on an '04 Maxima ID sticker is anybody's guess!

The FSM lists two 6sp man trannys for the '04...
