Spot on. This should be your first priority. I had this issue. Completely fixed after replacing this sensor. Easy fix too :)

I had a thought... my boost gauge is attached to the same line as the mevi vac can and actuator. This I suppose could throw the readings off....

Sounds like a dyno tune is in order. However I thought if you kept her on 11.5 AFR you'd make peak power anyway. Is this not necessarily the case?
