I'm pretty sure it is the motor, it gets hot if you hold the switch down.

We don't want to buy more parts than we have to but I guess that's an option.

I am not sure if I made myself clear - on the front page you have the seats listed for $50 each. I am willing to pay the $50 but I don't want to pay to ship an entire seat when I only need the motor....

Cleaning them did the trick, the inside was pretty dirty. They still are not quite as white as the stock HIDs but the fog light lenses are pitted pretty badly so that is probably the reason.
