But will the Camshaft Position Sensor cause the problems when the car is in reverse or drive? When in park the car runs ok with a slight miss but as soon as it gets into gear it drops bad sometimes...

its the hose on top the guy at the auto parts said its the pressure line that was held by only 2 bolts i see it in the manual but i cant get any good wrench in there to get it off

ok if you look for a box near the glove compartment it should have a sticker on it with two sets of numbers on it one of those is the 7 digit code you need mine was faded so i had to remove the glove...

I followed the howto exactly and i didnt have a problem I did have to remove the box with the sticker on it and open it up to get the code though and it worked for me I dont know why yours wont work...
