Upgrade Y2K HEADLIGHTS TO 2002 HEADLIGHTS (HIDs). Is it possible?

I want to upgrade my "old" headlights to a cool looking 2002 HIDs. Now they are sold cheap on Ebay and they are brand new, in box, not the stollen ones...

Is installation the same? Will it fit...

Nissan's TSB says if ECU update does not help, replace catalytic converter...

Catalyst is covered under 96mo/80k warranty

But I would still have to pay for ECU flash...
I don't think they will replace catalyst without ECU update
