By keys you mean the same method as programming a new fob? I did that before but from what I was told you need the Nissan consult II or something? I did try the bcm and well it didn't start my car...

Power Door Lock and Power Windows intermittent problem

Hello,
I have an 04 Maxima SE and just today when I went to unlock my car using the fob, it wouldn't open. Luckily the alarm would disable and enable if using the fob just not the power door lock....

If so, I poked holes everywhere and cut some of it off and got a vacuum with a small pipe like adapter and sucked it all out....

I have the SAME problem as you. I notice your windows do not have tint also. I purchased my maxima with no tint and live in new orleans so yep it caused the grills to get all brittle and deteriorate....
