sorry for the old bump~ but can AAA reset the NAT? My issue is, car is immobilized but I have two working keys (no damage).

So the wife left the lights on in the car and ran the battery dead after three hours. She then tries to start, obviously no go. So she calls up friend for a jump, but tried a few more times. Guess...

This worked, and was able to pass inspection with EVAP not ready. Could have had one more "not ready" and still passed, since its a 1999 vehicle.

did some more research seems like for a 1999 EPA allows two 'not ready' codes in the computer. So my plan is to drive the car until its less than 35% fuel, so the EVAP system will never be 'ready'

Been seeing a p1440 code and tried all the possible fixes. Bought a new OEM gas cap but no dice. Dealer wants $700 to diagnose and fix the issue, but being a 99 Max I don't see a justification for...

Turns out its the power steering pump, and he wants $380 to replace. He suggested to just use it until failure...

thats excellent advice, however I've never done engine work except for replacing coils and plugs. Not comfortable in removing the belt myself, probably won't be able to put it back.

Hey all, my 99 max has this loud whining noise. It doesn't sound like a belt issue, could it be the water pump is on its way out?

The temperature is normal, and no CEL.

how were you able to fit it properly?

I'm about to move the location of my KS as well, since its nearly impossible to change a cali spec.

What bolt did you use to fasten on the manifold? It looks like it needs to be pretty long.
