I used them on a SE... I don't think the part numbers for abs wheel speed sensors vary between gxe and se.

theres a few sensors that look like the right idea but I'll be honest i haven't checked...

As I tech I would tell you it's not possible, unless you touched something not related to the brake system. And it leaves me completely puzzled that the steering wheel was (or wasn't) straight...
