I checked for 12v when ignition on/ run position to red wire on crank pos, missing the >5v ref to white wire, cam phase sensor was checked for >5v signal also missing... sensors are brand new OEM...

My suggestion would have been to run a compression check considering how oily the plugs look... kinda tough to do when the engine is apart... You can perform a leak down test assuming the bottom end...

I am tracing the same trouble code on my 1995 SE only with P1320 which tells me that there is a fault in the ignition primary circuit. I was able to snake the harness out through the firewall...

my egr valve is gone and she runs like a striped ape. bypassed that cooling line and all is good. made an egr plate where it attaches to the intake and shes good no leaks and she idles perfectly.

I know I have an air bubble in the cooling system any easy trick to get it out? I keep hearing the the fans kick on but the resovoir is constantly bubbling what gives? its either that or the t-stat...

Aluminum wont rust, it will oxidize and the oxidation was very apparent when I separated the trans-axle. It will look like a white crust on the metal.
