The whine comes from the speakers only and...

The whine comes from the speakers only and corresponds to the engine RPM. It can only be heard while watching DVDs. It does sound like a supercharger though, but it comes from the speakers.

I would go with a custom exhaust. You could save over half the price of bolt on systems and get the same sound, performance and look. just my opinion though.
