I got 303 at an RV store. I think you can get a list of stores for your area from 303's website.

PCs are 2500-6000 OPM as it's an orbital rather than a rotary. The only way you'll hurt your paint with a PC is if you drop it on the car. It is definitely the way to go for a beginner.

Won't have overspray, but might have brush marks. If you take them off the car then spray, if you leave them on then brush IMO.

I haven't done either though.

I wasn't saying abrasive in a negative way. It always seemed pretty well.

If you rub it between your fingers you it feels like VERY fine grit sand paper IMO.
