Thanks everyone. I have lots of reusable Nissan OEM Stainless Steel Exhaust Gaskets too. Fits every Nissan exhaust, cat. converters, 2.5"+, etc. I'll add a pic along with the OEM mats I have tom.

If you really want/NEED to paint it, the latter I highly doubt (even if you have scratches/swirls) go with the Crimson Nissan color otherwise you will kill the value of your Max big time, seriously,...

It's called fall out and/or rail dust that causes little orange specs on the paint, it's only easily noticeable on a white, silver or other light colors. All you need to do is clay your car....
