you have a 5ht gen or a 5.5?? i plan on doing the same (ford 40lbs inj,with a cobra or lighting 4" maf) on a 4th gen ECU,i dont think it matters what FP you use ,is the injectors the ones that flow...

the pathfinder cooling mod is only for the RWD VQ,for a FWD VQ it would be the DE-K cooling tube with the extra thermostat

ok,so i was bored and started looking around to build a vq35 block i have,i plan on using 09 VQ pistons on it to raise the compression to 10.6,but i saw that some parts are ridicusly cheap,...wtf?...

wait.....now that i remember, VK45 pistons are the ones that fit a VQ30,....a destroked VQ35 would need HR pistons (great for high revs,good flowing heads,and the HR pistons will raise the 8.8 C.R.)...

i think a destroked vq35 would be better....you could have the vq35's heads and a shorter stroke of the vq30 ,but you would need atleast rev up cams and a really good flowing header and IM combo
