the bose system is an awsome sound system for our maximas even for being 20+ years. check out this place they rebuilt 2 of bose amps and added an aux port on stock radio for a reasonable price....

Could possibly be rear main seal leaking or axle seal they are relatively close to each other so it can be confusing. To find out for sure, they both have different smells. Tranny fluid will smell...

They'll bolt on sure, and could use them for 95-99, however they wont work for 95-99, if you plan keeping your egr stuff. Those parts would have to be deleted. Not everyone will attempt that lol.

Yeah that looks like coolant, possibly water pump seal is no good. Also check the freezer plugs theres on located right above the compressor area.

Sounds like that motor was no good from the start, not the mechanics fault, you can rev these engine quite a bit, maybe you had no oil
