That seems to be the going price for it. I, begrudgingly bought mine for $194 and then put it in myself. I don't know which was worse. The price or the labor.

I fixed my strut noise problem.

It was very much my fault. I didn't fully tighten the strut rod nut on top after I installed the struts. I had tried to tighten them OUT of the car, but the rod was spinning.

I found the problem...

Mine did the same thing

about a yr and half ago. Luckily it got stuck in the driving position. So, with that, I have never bothered to mess with it. I don't plan on sellin or tradin it in, so I'm not worried about resale...

Yes it IS difficult...

I just changed my power steering high pressure hose.

The hardest part was the banjo bolt at the bottom. It would be easier to put it on first, but then it would be SUPER hard to get the bracket...

It now has 175+k. No real major issues yet. Just changed the power steering high pressure hose and front struts. Front struts now make a bumping/thumping noise.:(
