Its Been a while, having some issues. =/

So my maxima has been doing great for quite a while..Probably been two years or so since anything has gone astray on the Max But i had an issue today..


She went into limp mode and poured out 5...

Got her fixed tonight.

The miss was two bad coils.
The no heat was that the radiator was leaking, new rad = heat.
Did the Valve cover gasket..Those are some hard mother effers to r & r.

oil . . . . coolant. . . no heat . . Not BHG?

So My maxima started to miss and not have heat so i pulled the plugs.

1# Oil ALL over 4 of 6 of them and in the plug valleys.

#2 No heat..Engine is heating to a good middle of the gauge...

I took the rear seats out and had my dad listen...

I took the rear seats out and had my dad listen in and the fuelpump is working.So I took off the air box assy and cleaned out the tb, air idle valve and egr and it runs now......In Park, But dies...

As far as I know..No one that has a set of one piece headlamps would want a two piece set.Thats a one sided win, Go to ebay and pay $150 and get a new set of them.

You could just throw in a 80K 3.5 engine but the thing i like about the head DIY projects is that you get almost "free" hp and better throttle response when done correctly.Along with an extended head...
