i have a bad iacv on my car and it does the same...

i have a bad iacv on my car and it does the same thing. an auto should idle around 700 750 and a manual sould ilde at 625. im not saying u have a bad iacv because im pretty sure it would set a code...

i looked it up on all data and i did it today at work. still does the same thing. for some reason when i rev up and let it idle back down it stops at 1500 rpms and goes back up to 2000 and then down...

i know i have a bad iacv but i bought a used one and the car stays idleing at 1500 rpms (could be another bad one though). i was wondering if anyone knows a way to test an iacv so i can know weather...

kool. i was just wondering because i had a second TB with the IACV on it and i changed just the sensor and i still got the code for it and my car wont idle when its cold. i guess that sensor was bad...

The iacv is under the throttle body, you have to watch because coolant passes through them and if the coolant leaks past the oring on them then it shorts them out and u have to replace both the iacv...

go to advanced auto and they have the AEM Dryflow filter for like 40 bucks. i just bought one last week
