Hey everybody, I'm back. Put the Maxi away for a year, asleep in the garage. Got replacement ECM the other day, gonna reinstall it next week. Have New Mass Air Flow Sensor *(MAFS) & Idle Air Control Valve *( IACV). Will be installing these PRIOR to installing the ECM.

My question is this; the ECM that I received had another key & Immobilizer Unit along with it in package. The salvage yard said that changing out Immobilizer prior to installing ECM would or should save me a trip to the dealer for Reprogramming the vehicle.

Can anyone on here give me the proper procedure on re-installing the items I've mentioned above? Just waiting on NEW IACV to arrive & I'll be doing the job next week I figure. Thanks for any help in this highly technical process!- jdawg

Help Anyone! I have a 2001 Max SE 5-Speed w a 3.0 engine. I have the 17'' wheels on it. I fried my ECM. Need another. Can anyone tell me if I"m "restricted" to 2001 only or can I interchange w years; 2000/2003? At least that's what the "kid" at the Nissan Dealership said I could do.

ALL the junkyards & peeps in the business of selling used ECM's, say their computer says 2001 ONLY. What gives?
I need to replace mine *(IACV malfunctioned & fried it), Have new IACV, but don't wanna spend $400 plus on a "re-man" ECM. ANY advice on this would be appreciated.
