Ok so im having trouble starting my 95 maxima. Sometimes it starts right up(mostly when its warm?) sometimes it cranks and needs a little gas to get it goin. And occasionally it doesnt even turn over, but i can hear it clicking. Its gettin fuel just fine though. Sometims it dies when idling, but at a light i just pop it out of gear and keep it between 1000-1500 rpm and its good to go. it does have a new clutch under 4000 mi? Ive heard sanding the matting surfaces needs to be done other wise is can cause starting problems? it does have 300000 mi on it though? Exhaust held up by hangers and chugging occasionally? can a leak in the exhaust really cause it to die sometimes? i dont think so but thats what the mechanic told me?! (probably just cuz im a chick lol) any advice would really be greatful i just got this car a few weeks ago and anxious to learn how to fix it up!!!!!! thanks !!!!!
