ps...Well after posting the recent post...i just came in from checking the 94 gxe...noticed that the shifter would not start in park again so i tried shifting to neutral. However the lever appeared stuck and after a playing with it turning the ignition key...moving the steering wheel...it finally shift to neutral and the car was started.

One thing i neglected to mention was when shutting the engine down...i would hear this whistle from the engine...and it has been hot...though the temp guage never went past the maximum red line.....so checking the radiator...i found it took a one and a half gallons of water...Thank goodness that i have been running synthetic oil in the crank...Ok how about some advice from all you techs? Thanks in advance!!!

    New problem with 94 gxe...

First noticed it would not start turning the key in park position...however if i moved the selector lever to neutral position...it would start?

Sometimes it will start in the park position....

Second problem...now noticed that when selector is put in the drive position...it does not drive...as if it is in neutral. You can rev the engine...and it is like neutral...however after moving the selector back and forth...the car will engage in drive??? Just had a trans flush.

    Thanks
