I have an '06 and looking for an aftermarket grille. If you guys can come up with something that has a look & fit more similar to the '07-'08 grille, I'd place an order. Is your team still serious about a redesign? If so, are you targeting a date range to have the new design(s) available? Surprisingly, there are very few designs out there that I like. I'm willing to wait given a better option is on the horizon.

Yes we are serious about the redesign and we have the necessary parts for the new production, but we are currently working on other projects and we don't have a set time frame yet.

Any updates on the redesigned 04-06 grill? I've been holding out for it and if the redesigned model takes queues from the 07-08 model, I really think they would sell well. A more narrow, sharper shaped bezel for a more factory-like fit and bringing the mesh forward slightly would make it vastly improved over the original design. There is nothing currently available that does this. I will gladly order as soon as you have them available.

I llike this grill better because there is no gaps around the grill and below the hood.

The is my grill, notice the Nissan wings. This is a real Nissan emblem used on Japanese Nissan Trunks (Boots).

It looks even better now since I had the grill professionally polished last summer and I put a new emblem on; this time I lined up the emblem in the middle of the top line instead of flush with the top line. I will try and find a more recent picture.

Nice xorbitman, not many billet grilles out there anymore, yours looks good.

As far as this re-design goes, coming back to this thread after 4months
Here are my thoughts
1. It needs to come with better mesh. Period.
2. I like the way it is now, just sharpen up the edges, much more like the 07 version.
3. I'm not a fan of the extra bars in the middle. Not one, not two, not three.

I'd vote for the current (no bar) design if there was an option. I currently have something similar to orbits although i've considered switching the current c-mod design.

I like the old version better because the new version looks like the 04-06 bumper. And besides there isn't any room for emblems as an option. But others will definitely like the new one because everyone bought the old one

I've been shopping for a grille but can't seen to find one I like.

I'll go with everyone else, keep the old style, make it flush with the bumper and hood, then I'm all for it.

We need to get this added to the poll, (MOD anyone?)I would make a move on this. One thing, they gotta keep the opening the same size so we can just pull any custom mesh out of the old grille and drop it in the new one.

Sadly, I don't think we are anywhere near the top of the list yet.

I'm still holding out for a new C-mod design for the '04-06'. Are there any updates? Are you still planning on releasing a revised model? Thanks!

This is the old design:

Instead of changing a good design, why not just change the mesh design of make it an option. IMO the rest just looks too weird but I think a different style of mesh would really change the concept without over doing it.

Hello C-mod,

It's now spring time. Is there any chance a redesigned grille is on its way? Any updates? Many thanks.

i found a really inexpensive and badass looking billet grille on ebay for about 80 shipped!

white car + black mods = sexiness

i think at this point that would be ur best bet...seems the responses here are lax.

Sorry for the late reply, currently we are no longer a sponsor on this forum hence we can not post, because we are saving the advertising budget so as to use the money to make more new products for our customers. If you have any questions, please email us directly at sales@cmodgrilles.com, as we will not reply to any messages here.

Nevertheless, the new grille is ready! This is a new design for the Maxima 04-06 grille
to make it look like the updated facelift Maxima 07-08 grille. You can purchase it on our website.

Nice, very nice. Sharper lines on the entire rim of the grille. I wonder if the mesh is the same size as the current? Then it's an easy swap.

It's just plain better

This is the new grille test fitted with the front bumper on the floor during production. It covers most of the front bumper with the edges slightly indented, the bulky lower middle piece from the previous design has ben removed. It looks sharper, it blends in with the front bumper more and it almost look like you have a new facelift Maxima 07-08.

Nice, that looks much, much better, appears to actually flow with the car lines. Might have to add it to my grill options now. Glad to see you guys actually pull through with a redesign and not just little changes to the old one.

I hope they can work with you.

We must realize that all the companies that make aftermarket parts for our cars some times do make mistakes or say can manufacture products that end up beinfg faulty. Look at the EZconcept lights that lots of people had fogging issues with. Some people too had problems with racingline endlinks and I think headers. And to a lesser extend remember the roof spoilers from Taiwan? it was very off on our cars, but the seller did make some adjustments that improved fitment, though not perfect, but the guy is still selling well on ebay.

So, I hope c-mod sees your hardwork and definitely compensates you with a new one and you keep this for you cannot afford to pay shipping to send this one back. It cannot be adjusted by them and the re-sold. So, it is yours to keep for ever. So, I will guess they will give you 2 options to pick one; get your money back or a new c-mod grill after they make the necessary adjustments.

Keep us updated.
