ROGER! Its good to hear from you. Give me your number and take down mine. I like your new ride!

Ok here is how it works. Just put your name on the list here on the .org to rsvp. We only have 8 spots so hurry and put your name on the list. I trust that if you guys put your name on the list it means your going.

Its 40 bux for 3 pulls. Its going to be a friendly environment for you guys because Mike and I are both going to be there helping everyone out. There will be coupons available for a re-dyno in the future if you attend this event so you will be able to put your baseline to good use. Not sure for how much but it should be good.

sent you a PM, and I cleared up my schedule for that day, I am in. hopefully those three pulls will give me an idea if my VIAS is truly working, and where I am at when it comes to horsepower and torque.

Roger...I remember when I dynoed by 2000 and the vias wasn't working, I was not happy and felt like I wasted a dyno...it's easy to see if it's working, just pull it out and see if the actuator cup is is solidly in there or broken...then jb weld it if not...takes very little time. Trust me, you want to dyno with the confidence that your vias is working...I could do it for you in 15 min, but if it is broken you have to jb weld it and that takes a few hours to cure.

See you at the dyno!

you're right, I should check it beforehand and fix it if it needs fixin'. I heard the heads on the screws are so weak that you need to use the larger of the phillips head screwdrivers to not mess them up.

They are made of a really soft material like brass, just spray them with wd40, wait 5 minutes, then press/push really hard with the screwdriver (hopefully one that is beefy) towards the screw head and turn at the same time.

Just looked at the cup, and it looks brand new(no play, not loose in any way). I chock it up to not really pushing the car too tough, and the previous owner not pushing the car a lot either. I now have confidence that I will get a good baseline.

come on guys, this is a good opportunity to see what your mods have netted you, or just to get a baseline like me. If we don't take advantage of this now, then we won't get any spots next time something like this comes up. Price is really cheap too.

by posting your intent to RSVP for the event, as you have just done. They will update the list as they see people RSVP for it.

Can't wait! I said "Fck the base line!" and installed my 00vi. THere's plenty of 4th gen base lines no the org...im not expecting anything else much diff.

Hope i can tune with the three pulls on my VAFC2. Any Vafc2 guru's going to be there?

My understanding is 40 for 3 pulls. VAFC tuning may require more pulls, but then again I have never done it. Maybe someone there will be able to help

You need to come out, unless you haven't changed anything since last dyno! You pulled the best numbers of the day last time!

i dont think i'll be allowed to use the dynapack. My passenger side CV boot is torn and was spitting grease everywhere. I duct taped it for now until my axle gets here but its not gonna hold for long.

It was fun. I dyno'd at 168.9hp and 151.5 lb/ft of torque. Very cool to meet some new people. Thanks again mike and Larry, will see what mods( if any) I will add before next time. We also need more max's next time
