Parting out. stuts/springs sold. Volks sold. I got a set of 3rd gen SE wheels available. 5sp transmission and shift mechanism sold. Engine still there. Cat + Catback sold. White exterior, grey cloth interior. Everybody's asking me about the flip lid center armrest, but nobody's paypalled me for it yet. Weird.

Front end was damaged, bumper, headlights, and radiator's not available.

$500, come and flatbed it away.

I replace my sparks every year. NGK V-Power.

umm so yea opened it it to take a look at the spark plugs and there was a considerable amount of oil in there.. so i guess this means ill be replacing my gaskets correct? have any of you done this? it seems pretty easy other than taking off everything in the back.. i just want to make sure this is the correct solution to my problem..

well yeah, i replaced the valve cover gasket on my car. i had the same problem, but i dont remember it whistling

i just don't know if i want to do it or just pay my mechanic to do it.. but at the same time i could do so much work to it cams, intake spacer, injecters but my engine does have 175k miles on it.. what do you guys suggest i do? just replace the valve gaskets and call it good and just save till i can do the 3.5 swap?

Did you read the link I sent you? PCV, check that first... cheap and easy. I would just goto Kragen/AutoZone and get one. Or take yours apart, clean it out, and put it back in.

it's getting fixed right now and should be up and running next week.. i love my maxima!! but sliding around in the 240 has been pretty fun as well. you got to love rwd!

lol i finally fixed my maxipad.put ES mounts and a findanza flywheel. man you gotta get used to it.. the car stalls more easily now

i still didnt do anything stupid. just babying the car for now. still cant get it in my head that its finally fixed. but its sweet that i got my own car again, not my brothers.

my clutch has like 5k on it.

Yes, I would go easy on it initially. 1 gas tank of city driving should do it. If you do a lot of hwy driving and not much gear shifting, then you needa break in w/more miles.

Really, I like the lightweight, It seems easier to start from a stop cuz I can blip the gas and catch the rpms on the way down. I'm definitely not riding or slipping the clutch, it just works better. Downshifts are amazing too (I double clutch when I downshift. Yes, I know it's pointless, but I do it anyways.)

so i figured that my injecter was making the whisting sound.. so ill be replacing that the gaskets, sparks plugs.. fun stuff but at least i figured out what was wrong.. long live the VQ!

so question, ill be in SD the 9th through the 12th of January trying to find new clients for my work.. which means ill be missing our get together is there any way we can do it another day that week?

oh that sux...i got some injectors laying around at home.

anyways, my car take a crap on me again. something is up with the battery. i think its the ground. my car doesnt hold a charge. i jump start my car, and it drives. then i start my car, and it just clicks, and kills the battery right away.
