lol yeah.. i bought all the parts, but driving them home, my tranny started acting up. so i drove the parts home, and the next time i drove the car, i blew the tranny up...so i spend around $1200 on fixing that.....i got a flywheel, clutch and a tranny from a member. im putting the tranny on, i belive on monday. right before christmas.

after that, i gotta paint my parts, and install them....lol. wanna help?

sure i just painted my Kouki pearl white.. it looks beautiful!! although, i don't have any pictures of it right now which is sad.. but yea im down.. and thanks, the retro took me a while to figure out since i hace the Cefiros but it turned out pretty well.. its looking pretty mean right now so i can't complain..

Ok so there's frost everywhere this morn. Being a SoCal guy, I have no idea how to handle this stuff. There's like snow on my car and windshield that the wipers can't wipe off... It takes an extra second to crank the starter. Reverse is still a crapshot to shift into... The heater doesn't really get to the point of unbearably hot (is my heater core clogged?)... and lastly, all-season touring tires on icy roads is no fun!

I wanna go back to SoCal now. *whine*

so my engine has been acting up and i think its about to die on me.. i was wondering if you guys had an suggestions on what i should do.. i'm kind of leaning towards a 3.5 swap but is it really worth all the money or should i just stay with a stock 3.0 engine?

if you're going to replace the engine you might as well do a 3.5 swap to it.

a bunch of thing.. a whistling noise is either coming from the TB or underneath the intake manafold.. i can't seem to find out where its coming from.. the engine has almost 200k on it and has never been worked on.. it still has been pulling really hard but now it just doesn't feel the same. it's almost like it stutters from take off.. i have power then its gone then i have power again.. its making me sad...

well i had a knock off for like 2 weeks that was like the injen. when its on idle, it whistled cause it had a "boost" leak. there was a crack in it. look at the intake, maybe its leaking

could be, but the sound is from pushing out air not sucking in.. i think.. that was my first though and thats what my mechanic said too.. ill check it out tomorrow if there is light outside.. lol

I still own it, but its not registered nor insured... trying to sell it for $500 right now. It's a 97 gxe 5sp, 223k miles.
