Can anyone recommend a good dealership / shop to get some work done?

My car can't pass smog because there's a Crankshaft Position Sensor - Ref (P1335) code from the MIL. So last weekend, I took a look at the CPS Wire Harness that's behind the right front tire and it looks somewhat weathered. I didn't see any exposed or damaged wires but it looks like it could be replaced. I tried to disconnect it but it looks like it goes pretty far up to areas that I can't reach. I know I'm going to get raped by the dealership for this but at this point, I just want it fixed so I can legally drive the car. Can anyone recommend a good shop from past experience? TIA.

I've only done brakes and electrical stuff. I don't even have the necessary tools. Wish there was a local orger who could help me though, I'd hook him/her up for their time too.

stick to the mom and pops shops, i work at a Nissan dealer for years and our mechanics, motto was fu.. it its not my car, since they work of flagging hours, they rushed youre car, my trans was never the same ever since they touch it, rebuild twice, and now my car cant pass smog due to a trans sensor, and plus the labor rate is really high now.

Well... that all depends. I used to work for a Nissan dealer too as a tech and it all boils down to WHO get assigned ya car.It dont matter if it`s a dealer, a firestone or a moms n pops shop. I used to work alot on some cars from the MY350Z.com forum. They always came back and asked for me to service their cars. The rest of the guys in my shop didnt wanna even touch their cars cuz of the mods. PM me if ya need a recommendation to fix ya car at the dealer.
