WHAT: The popular Wednesday Night Drags program at Infineon Raceway, September 27th. The raceway opens its gates for fans who would like to race down the world-famous quarter-mile drag strip.
OBJECTIVE: The objective of the program is to give people, from teen-agers to working professionals, a safe, legal and controlled environment in which to race their vehicles, as opposed to using city streets or back-county roads, and to test your cars power and capabilities. Anyone can go!
WHEN: Wednesday 8/27, racing spans from 3 p.m.-10 p.m.
WHERE: Infineon Raceway, Highways 37 and 121, Sonoma, California, 95476.
"WE WILL PROBABLY MEET UP AND CARAVAN OVER THERE, GOING TO MEET SOMEWERE IN THE CITY. WE'LL DETERMINE THAT AFTER I FIGURE OUT HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE GOING TO GO!!!"
WHO: Anyone with a driver's license can compete, providing their vehicle or motorcycle passes a simple technical inspection. All vehicles must have mufflers. The event attracts a varied crowd, including teen-agers, mothers, working professionals and grandparents racing everything from Corvettes to Mini-Vans. Three-hundred cars are allowed to compete each Wednesday night. The weekly event attracts an average of 900-1,200 people (competitors and spectators).
It would be nice having some maxima guys out there....invite your friends if you want as well, dont have to be maxima's althought i know that some of you only have friends with nissans
