Socal: Looking for Shop to R&R Transmission

My trans is pissing me off and I'm ready to replace it with a junk yard unit. See here for the drama:
01gle auto transmission problem - caused by bad tcm??

I'll order a new solenoid pack from daveb.

Does anyone know a shop which will do a good job? The shop which did my eibach/illuminas had to redo the front because the guy didn't slide the sleeve on the spring to the bottom to prevent knocking. Sadly the only place I've been going to is the dealer for work because I know they'll do it right, but I dont want to drop $3k.

I'd love to do this, but have no lift nor the tools...no experience either, but I pay close attention to details

I'm located in huntington beach.

If you're willing to drive to Murrieta, I know a great shop called Murrieta Transmission. Excellent work on my camaro, 99 Max, and Ptatohed's Maxima.
Rated #1 in AAA's book of recommended shop. Shop is immaculate. Owner's name is Harry and is very cool. I'll be going to him for all my transmission needs.

Cool, I'll definitely check them out. Do you know where I can see those AAA rankings? The shop which did my suspension was AAA approved too.

Here's my guy Cres-o-matic

Likely you will talk to Bill don't worry he's well experianced. My Dad used him for 20 some years and they did the tranny on my Bronco not too long ago. Still works great. Pretty honest too, about 6 years ago my tranny was acting screwy and was shifting all over the place. Took it in expecting to pay for a tranny and he let me know it was just a switch on the side. $150 out the door. In all the years my family has been using that shop we've never had to take a vehicle back.

Just tell him Ken the Bronco guy sent you.
