Just did 1 yesterday. The bad part was, the person drove to me, car was hot... had to wait 1hr for the car to cool. U gonna pay me for waiting? LOL

I'm thinking, come to Puente Hills Mall, go shop or watch a movie, when you get out gimme a call and I'll come over and do it. Or maybe let's catch a movie together and I'll consider that payment, when we're done I'll swap the sensor.

I can vouch for Jae's skills, it was my car he worked on yesterday! He's got all the right equipment (Spray bottle FTW) and small enough hands =P

I would take his suggestion to go to rowland and meet him (and possibly me) to get it done. Takes less than an hour easily!

'You kno what they say about small hands..."
Wait... scratch that. LOL.

Ok, what you need is, 10mm wrench, 12mm wrench, and something long for leverage, at least 12" long.

You'll need to unplug the IACV, the green thing in the way. Unplug it, then pull out the 2 vacuum tubes attached. Then take the 10mm closed end to loosen the nut underneath. Use the leverage tool you have to crank away. After breaking the nut loose, finish removing with hands, careful don't lose the nut!

Then use closed end of 12mm wrench on the knock sensor. Small hands helps a lot here. Again, use your leverage tool to crack loose the bolt. Finish removing bolt by hand. Really should take ~15min, maybe even 10min with experience.

Good luck!

Night? I could, but prefer not to, just in case a tool or nut or bolt falls outta place and we gotta look for it. I don't expect it, but I'd rather not do it at night. Let's shoot for Saturday. I might be watching Batman Saturday morn @ Puente Hills Mall.
