So I hear ya guys are talking about me, eh? Bashing my new car I see. I miss my Maxima. She was very good to me...Everytime I see one though (besides 6th gens), they're all beat up. It makes me very sad.

I'm in Peoria. Just look for a silver Mazda3 hatchback. Don't see too many pimped out Maxima's around here though.

EDIT: Don't worry guys. There's still one Maxima left in the family. My sister still has her white '97 SE. She's in the market for a new car, and when she gets one, my dad is gonna buy it back from her (it was originally his; bought it brand new).

That's it in the back. The one in the front was my brother's '99 SE-L, which he traded in last year.

Sup AZ peeps. I was in the Air Force for along time stationed in AR but i moved to AZ last year. Havent had much time to rly get back into my car but just to let ya know im here! I'd love to meet some fellow Orger's out here. Never rly saw anyone but myself with a modded max when i lived in AR.

Altho id be a little embarressed to bring my car anywhere since it has gone into so much disrepair from being overseas so much. lol

Ive been wanting to really get it fixed up nice and clean again. It would be pretty sweet to find a max meet out here sometime to go to and meet new people's.

WOOT ! I never came to this part of the site cuz i didn't think there would be anyone here lol. Well, i'm new to the max family ( sort of, i've loved maximas for years and have trolled around for a while before i even joined ) and finally got one this feb ( 03 black ) ... I'm originally from nyc but came out in phoenix may of 06 ( holy sheet, it's really been 2+ yrs since i moved out here ). I would LOVE to go to some meets ... as long as it's a reasonable distance. I'm with the gas crowd that doesn't want to waste it if not enough people get on the list to come.

Also, aye is anyone close to me that would like to help a brotha with a brake pad and rotor change ? I'm not mechanically inclined but would rather do the work to learn better than pay 150 for something i could to myself. I CAN PAY IN BEER FOR YOUR TIME !!! LMAO !!!

oh yea, add mehz to the list mane !

EDIT: FORGOT TO ADD SOME PICS( sorry these are the only ones i have, i don't have a digicam )

These are from the dealer.. eh they're better than my crappy cell phone pics.

Added. Nice car, although the sideway shots give a little headache, lol. We should do some kind of open garage meet some time, so people can work on their cars. I haven't done my brakes yet so i don't know if i could help you. Leet, did you do yours?

haha ! Aye, which combo did you end up going with ? Im thinking about some brembo blanks with hawk hps pads. I've been reading along with " The Great Brake Pad and Rotor " thread and saw alot of votes for hps but some other sites i've seen kinda go against them. I dunno which to choose otherwise i'd at least have mine waiting here lol. It was either those or axxis ultimates ( which i've read are just a lil bit better than stock ).

Brembo blanks and oem pads are what i have. It's rly up to you what pads u want. oem, hawk, etc are all fine.

*edit* BTW while im remembering it, ive never had to emissions test my car since ive owned it all these years in a state that doesnt require it. Am i going to need to worry about not being able to pass the test now that i live in AZ? Im not sure about thier testing criteria here.

I know they say just make sure the car is warmed up because of lack of precats, etc but just trying to make sure. I REALLY need to get it done this week and get it registered.
I have CAI, 00VI, Full exhaust system Y-B-M. Of the mods i have those are the only items i can see that would affect the test *edit*

Here's some info about emission testing in AZ, they have current wait times, that's pretty cool.
http://www.azdeq.gov/environ/air/vei/

Here's some info of what they check
http://www.myazcar.com/pdf/emissions_control_equip.pdf

It looks like they have visual check for catalytic converter.

Ya just read those links. My CEL has been on since i had my 00VI put in and it said if your CEL is on then you cannot test your car. Stephen Max did the work for me but he didnt have time to figure out the CEL because i had to leave town.

Any of you AZ boys (or girls) 00VI experts, installed yours, etc or know more than me? I know a little but not enough to troubleshoot the problem and fix it. I could pull the codes id have to buy the tool for it tho. I can always drive to wherever you are, pay, beer, lunch, bull****, w/e =P
