Hey all. I need to get a major tune-up of my 98 maxima. Can anyone please recommend a mechanic shop to take it to? Anywhere in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles area's are fine. Hope to hear from you soon, thanks!
T-Tek in San Diego, a couple of different places that specialize in Japanese cars are located on Miramar Rd in San Diego, not sure if Autobachs does work but they are in the OC, Stanton, CA. What work in specific do you need done?
All the belts, spark plugs, fuel injectors, filters, pump, recharge the air conditioning, engine fluids... and whatever else needs to be done. T-Tek is Diego is pretty good?

most of these are basic work you can get done at any shop. i dont undrstand why you would drive 200+ miles for this. please elaborate.
even though my car has a lot of battle damage and doesn't look like it did when it was brand new, i still care a lot about my car. Driving 200 miles doesn't matter if the place I take it to will do quality work
I take my car to corner3garage exclusively. They are in Lake Forest and Steve the mechanic is a Nissan Master tech and knows his stuff. Another member Eric turned me on to them and I haven't been to the dealer since!http://www.corner3garage.com/

Werd. Nima and Steve are both great guys. Nima tries his best to cater to customers' needs and Steve is more knowledgable about Toyota/Nissan/Honda vehicles than anyone I know. Every car in my family and some vehicles belonging to friends go there just for routine maintenance. I like that they only use OEM parts. Also, you'll always see a few cool cars when you're there.
Awesome. I talked to Nima about bringing it in and I think I settled on them. So next week thats where I'll be
Thank you everyone for getting me hookup with this shop! I really appreciate the .org and its member.

Yeah, I know he do bushings a lot. Do you have the parts already?
If any one lives in the 818 area, there is a good shop in Van Nuys. There are two guys and I think they are Nissan Master and used to work at the dealer. I did a small service and they check the engine light for me (O2 sensor) with the Nissan computer. I'm coming back next week for the sensor.
