Porter Ranch Import Meet..Lesson learned

So today (Thursday) i decided to go check out the import night meet here in porter ranch....you know how we Maxima Enthusiasts dont like rice rockets or anything along that line...well today was major payback...I was parking my car and noticed 2 cops on motorcycles.....then i saw 2 more roll by...then two more...than an undercover cop...and some regular patrol officers....god damn was i stunned to find what i did.....TOW TRUCKS!....ALL lined up ready to tow illegal cars away.....AND that exactly what happened...I went into In-n-Out to not look suspicious...i wanted to see the cars, but didnt want the police to think that i was part of this whole thing.....about 20 minutes later..i come out of In-n-Out to find the whole lots bombarded with cops on cycles, undercover, and patrol...along with about 10 cars on tow truck beds.....people standing on the sidelines watching their cars getting towed while recieveing a ticket....SO...i jump into my car..Nice and Slowly...and i pull out of the lot...I parked far away from where the importers meet so i was ok....On the way out i saw 2 cycles before i exited....2 cycles on the left turn onto the street....3 cop car along with 2 cycles parked next to it with an MR2 pulled over....not only that..as i was driving down the street....i got glimpses from about 3 cycles and 2 more cops cars...thank god i only have gayteezas.....On my was home i ALSO saw a mustang, a scion, 3 motorcycles and an acura..pulled over by several other cops.....WHEN i tallied everythign up (how many cop there were).....estimate at about 60 - 70....I no longer have ANY will to do anything to the exterior of my car.. (No drop, no AE mod, No tinted tails,k No illegal tint, No exhaust, No y Pipe, and nothihng else that is showy or flashy...ONLY 15 inch sawblades painted gun metal) GOD DAMN was that an adventure...Lemme know what you guys think abotu my story if you can actually understand/finish reading what i wrote..Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

the police are cracking down hard on car gatherings. it facilitates too much deviant activity. in a way it totally sucks that people are being targeted like this, but its no suprise that the police are turning attention to the car scene. lots of people do have modifications that are not in line with state regulations. and why else would people modify their vehicles with greater power than to drive faster. yes, it does suck that otherwise responsible car enthusiasts are being harassed by police, but then again these same responsible people aren't exactly innocent of obeying all vehiclular codes and laws. now thanks to the fast and the furious and countless wreckless racers for attracting the attention of law enforcement agencies everywhere to earn revenue... (and to save a few lives by making us walk)

i just went to a meet with over 200 cars many of which are most likely not street legal. cops were there the whole time and just made sure things didnt get out of hand. I didnt see any tickets issued and defintely not any towing. but I will defintely be more carful now.

that was weird, there were so many cars, all modded so it sticks out like a sore thumb and some people were actually revving their engines hard and some burned-out on the way out, yet the cops were cool and just chilled, very rare of nor-cal police.

my car is still very stock lookiing, but my diamond clear bumper lights and expired plates are what puts me apart from the rest. i did get a warning one time for the diamond clear bumper lights not having a reflector.

to be honest, i'd rather have these meets go on than have these same kids selling crack on the street and shooting people up.

what the hell are these kids going to do at night now? stay home and read or study math???
