Suspension Trouble? Need Help ASAP

UPDATED INFO
It seems, that the inner boot I believe is where its disconnected, as I've circled in the photo, so now I need to figure out the easiest way to reconnect this into the tranny/axle, where ever it goes...

Hey, fellow .org members, I need you guys help so bad, I was in the process of installing my KYB GR-2's struts, with the stock springs, and ran into some trouble with the Driver front, I cannot get the Rotor back into the vertical position as seen in the photos me and my dad both messed with it for at least an hour straight, I know the axle couldn't have popped out becuase, when i turn the pass front tire it turns...

Guys Please help me, I dont know what's wrong with it, I've tried everything and I'm without a car..

If any one is local to Cary, NC I would be willing to pay for someone to get this fixed for me.

Driver Front Problem

This is what it should look like (This is the pass front complete)

The Car from further away

I've checked these boot's and nothing feels loose, but havent taken them apart.

^^^ he is right. That happens all the time when you take the strut off of the nuckle. It gets bound up, usually you can just wiggle to the rotor and it will slip back in. It's not a big deal.

Ok well what if i cant get it slipped back in?, I've rotated and jiggled the rotor and I cant get the strut nuckle to line back up, and if the axle slipped out I cant get that to slip back on either.

have you tried turn the rotor/wheels to get it into a different position, then try the same wiggle/jiggle thing?

^^^^ Exactly what he said. You have to do it slow, cant go crazy or else you will spend another hour trying to get the axle into the threads

Yes, I have treid turning the rotor/wheels to get it into a different position, and hopefully line up the axle into the threads, but what Im going to do on Fri, after I get out of school, is try taking the Axle nut bolt off, and pulliing it out a little bit, so I can see if it will slide back into the correct position. Even if the axle did pop out, I should be able to get it back into the correct position by hand... Or am I wrong, also what could have happened worst case senario when the rotor and steering knuckle fell down like that? I know its on the tranny side, so it will be more work.

When I had this issue on the pass front side, we just jiggled it for like 20 min and it managed to pop right back into place... This is not the same outcome of the Driver front...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember something about one side having to be out before being able to take the other side out. Maybe it works the same going back in and you need to take the passenger side out before you can put the driver's side back in?

That can work too. It just seems like more work. I assume you have an impact wrench and a 36mm socket so you can take the nut off? You are not going to be able to use a breaker bar since the strut is un hooked.
