torque converter

so i was browsing ebay under "00 maxima parts" just looking for misc parts when i came across stage one and two torque converters, now i had planned on doing a high stall TC at one point but it slipped my mind, whats the diff in stages and what should i be aware of if i wanted the ebay ones???

never really specified but it said 400-800 higher speed, check maxima torque converter on ebay

Stages mean absolutely nothing on a wide scale, they're vendor-specific.

so in a nutshell it doesnt matter what high stall you get as long as it increases the stall speed to where you want it???

Basically, yea. Obviously the higher the stall speed, the more it makes for a PITA daily driver.

For the most part, correct. It's mostly when you're starting off from a stop, and even then for the most part WOT from a dig. Get a ridiculously high stall speed and you'll definitely notice it.

I think the stall from the factory is fine, Jime runs a stock stall from what I understand. Just use the factory stall and be happy...

^^^ jime also runs a 3.5 but IIRC he does have a 35K high stall i could be wrong and im thinking of someone else... i heard high stall and a set of slicks helps a lot
