First test passes in the Vette
Car is still NA on the stock bottom end, and was only running the 1/8th. In crappy muggy 80 degree weather the car went:
7.46@98.45 with a crappy 1.71 60'
Looks like I got a chance to run a sub 7 second run in the 1/8th once I get the launch down in decent air. Car should pick up anywhere between 25-28mph in the final 1/8th. My goal is to run a 10.9x NA on the stock bottom end before building the motor. Also have the nitrous kit I have yet to put on.

nice times. My friend had a C5 that had an intake and exhaust and was tuned by CAM (I think thats the name of the place) in NC. He had those bolt ons and a 100 shot. I think he put down around 425 hp and 500tq. The only time he sprayed it at the track he must have hit the brakes way early because he ran a 12.1 @99. I wish I had something that was ellis juan powered.

My 1/8th split was 7.37 @ 95.82 with a 1.69 60 ft. Your pass was probably good for 11.1-11.2

It will go a lot quicker once I can launch it. I will be upping the rev limit a few hundred rpm's and running skinnies up front this weekend to see what she will do. I want 10's NA stock bottom end before I put the kit on it and shoot for bottom 10's.

Mine should go considerable faster once I get it back. I was getting artificial knock from valve train noise which was causing my computer to pull 5* of timing from 3rd gear up. They are readjusting valve lash and checking things out. I should be able to get in the 10's on pump and meth, and hopefully near the 10.3-10.4 range on race gas.

Is your Vette still a street vehicle? Do you drive it much? What fuel were you running?
