sounds like MardiGras's old car....though he parted and sold it last year. So if you're thinking of a black 4th gen that looks fairly low-key with SSR comps, thats him.

btw, to my knowledge, it was the fastest maxima known to man.....the real question was "what the hell DIDN'T he have done..."

That was the first time I've seen that video. Pretty awesome! My 12.8 video doesn't look that fast. Gee, I wonder why?

Wait, do we have to trash talk in this thread? It's kinda hard to talk junk to a Maxima running mid 11s!

It was the first time they've seen me run on nitrous on the track actually racing anybody. I guess they were more excited than I was. He also screwed up the resolution. He took it at the lowest setting even though he had a memory card plenty big enough to handle more.

But oh well, it was that or nothing.

"See me" is a term that means; the person who said it, wants to initiate some type of battle with you. In whatever the conversation was about.

Meaning he wants you to "line up"!! And in his mind "get ready to lose".

That's the best I can explain it....

I have 199K miles on this old 3rd gen automatic. I must be slow, right?

I figured you were RWD since you had such a decent 60 foot on drag radials. I would love to line up next to a Z at the drag strip or at least a modded Stang or something. All the Stangs at my local drag strip will pull out of line when they see me get next to them! I'm not kidding. That has happened at least 5 times that I can remember. One of my friends nicely walked up to one of the guys in the Stang crowd to ask if they wanted to race that white Maxima. They said... "NO WAY, I've seen what times that thing has been doing today."

I won't ever be that way! If a kid rolls up next to me in a Geo Metro and he whoops me, I am going to shake his hand and learn what he has done, not try to avoid him.
