I've been a registered member for a while, but haven't posted in quite some time.
Bought my 00 GLE back in Feb '04 in Southern California. Moved to Central VA (near Charlottesville) in Sept '04 and have been here ever since.
Our max was/is pretty much the family hauler, so I haven't done much in the way of mods to it (2 I think at most). Recently, we tried to trade it on an 03 Odyssey (wanted some more room), but thanks to the VA DMV, the OD reading is documented incorrectly, so we couldn't trade it in. So now we're trying to brave 2 car payments in the interim, but we're really thrilled to have the Max back. We've taken some of our most memorable road trips in it and my wife drove it from CA to VA when we moved (I was driving our 00 Integra that I sold after our son was born).
Just a list of my "fleet" for now (in order of year):
1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu (Silver w/blk stripes)
1991 Honda CBR1000F "Hurricane" (Red/blk/wht)
1998 Chevrolet S10 ZR2 (Green)
2000 Nissan Maxima GLE (Black)
2003 Honday Odyssey EX-L (Grey)
As you can see, I have a few other "projects" taking time away from me doing anything to the max. Right now the CBR is the "cheapest" project (needs tires), chevelle needs some more expensive parts to get it running more reliably, my truck I'm just trying to keep running, but the Max has come back to be our primary vehicle, and as long as we can afford it, it will remain that way.
Paint/body is a little rough on the Max, but hopefully someday I'll have the time and money to remedy that.
Anyway, sorry for droning on. It's been a while since I was on this forum and feel like I should re-introduce myself.
My name is Chris and I've lived in northern va all my life (arlington right now).
I'm new to Maximas (and Nissan) but so far I love mine. I just got it about 1.5 months ago, so it's got no mods as of right now, just fixing random things that is wrong with it.

Ive been registered for a while didnt really post that much til recently just thought Id introduse myself, im in the NC area the Dirty D to be exact, im just in college so nothing really to do but be on the internet work on Ur car and the obvious, Ive got 2 4th gen I30s(see sig) I just got the black one 4 months ago so if U see me it will probably be in that one, its lowered and has an extra set of PIAA foglights on it the previous owner put on it and the tail lights are blacked out U cant miss it lol

What's good everyone? I'm from the NYCMAXIMAS.ORG web, but it gets kind of strenuous driving back and forth, to attend the meets in NY. I'm station in VA, and wanted to give everyone a shout out in the DMV area. Do ya'll do meets?

What is 'the DMV area'?
Our meets are usually when it warms up. We don't like the cold. Keep your eyes open for posts about the RCP BBQ and other meets in the future...

whats up guys, im dave, i drive a 2000 5spd SE. a few mods but nothing too special. i just blew my motor as far as i know, im getting it checked out tomorrow but hopefully its not much so i can just rebuild...any suggestions? i live up on ft meade im in the air force...hopefully once shes fixed i'll be able to cruise with all you guys

Sup guys, some of you guys already know me but for those who dont my names Mike and I finally got rid of my slow *** Accord. I just got a 03 Max SE in blue(Sorry JP I took your color) and its about damn time! I havent been out to 214 in like 6 months but im comin back this year with a vengeance! Hopefully ill get back to the swing of things really soon! And now I can finally say Honda sucks!

Hi guys, my name is Dorian. I have a 2000 GLE in Gray Lustre, with black leather interior. I love the car, it is so sexy. I want to do some basic mods to it, but I really want to get my hands on a stillen lip kit. Anyway, I just started my own construction business. Its a little rough right now, specially because of the way the economy is right now. Anyway I travel back and forth between North Carolina and Dirty Jersey. Reason being that I do work in both states... fun stuff huh?
I love cars, love going to car meets and meeting new people. Im pretty easy going and always try to help others if I can. Oh, I forgot to say, I when to school for computer graphics... I got a bs degree in it, but because I was young and stupid I didnt continue my education. So be cool kids, stay in school... LOL j/k
Before I stated my own business, i used to dump all my money in my old car... lots of good times with that thing. I got to meet a ton of people and have tons of great memories... If I could do it over... I wouldnt change a thing...
Im married now, I got a house in NC, over in angier, but like I said I spend a great deal in Jersey (bordentown) because of my job. What else... I'm 28 and have two pugs! LOL they are crazy! LOL

Welcome to the Org. Theres a few local modified red 6th gens here and they are pretty well known on the org. Maybe you'll do something big like them. (supercharge your 6th gen)

Welcome to the org and congrats on the new purchase. I also grew up in west bmore (edmonson village to be exact). Come out to some of the meets we have and put some miles on that 08 so you can take it to the track on opening day.

look most times someone will start a thread, get to know someone ( believe me it helped me) i know a couple of maxima's meet at the carshow at UMD last year, i expect the turnout to be greater this year

I'm getting vertical doors installed next weekend and if you want to see my car in person it will be @ the motor trend show from feb 7th to the 10th
