This Friday is Real Street Drag racing at great lakes dragaway in Union Grove WI. Its an event where its legal street racing. You can spot people lengths, go off a flag, give people a head start, and bet for money if you want. Its very fun. I was hoping to get some other Maximas down there. Count me in as a maybe, I have to work this Friday and if I do get out there it won't be till after 7. I've been to a few RSD's and it was a good time. Last time I was there I watched a race that had $5000 on the line. It was between two F-bodies, a Camaro vs a TA WS6. TA had the bust, the TA still won even when the Camaro tried to steal the bust.

I went to an RSD once and I'll probably never go again. Not my bag. I hate the "street racing" procedures of negotiating lengths and hits, all the cars running no-time (this entire event is like that, and one of the main things i like about the track is seeing how my car compares to other cars and I can't do that without knowing their time and trap), and the people are mostly (not all) retards. I'd much rather drive to byron or us41 and make lots of runs and be able to see what everyone runs (besides the toolbags that run no-time).
