Question for Chicago people...
I live in Central Illinois, I met a few of you at Maxus '07 in June (Xander, Hector, Blackbird, MrDuck, Kozy). I am planning my winter vacation, and I'm trying to get some stuff planned ahead. My g/f and I are flying out of O'hare on Jan. 3 at 9:05a.m. We are supposed to arrive back on Jan 12 around 4:00 p.m. I'm trying to figure out if I want to drive and leave my car somewhere, or have my stepdad drive us up there, then pick us up when we come back (it's about a 3 hour drive). Any advice on a secure place where I could park my car? I'm trying to get out of paying for parking. Obviously if I do this, I'm also going to have to taxi myself or find a ride to the airport. Any advice or anyone offering their services??? Let me know!! Thanks!
