Anyone for track day at Union Grove?

My friends' and I are planning on going to the Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, WI one last time before it gets "too" cold. The date we're shooting for is Oct 20th. He's trying to rally his chronies from the S10 forum, so I figured I'd try to flood the place with Maximas. Check out www.greatlakesdragaway.com for details.

It costs $37 to race and $12 to watch. The 20th is from 10 am to 5 pm. I hope to see some Max's there. Like I said, I'm buying lunch for the fastest Max. Who's gonna buy me lunch if I'm the fastest?

I got a few friends going with various cars...Built Dodge Challenger that runs low 12's, Audi A6 automatic turbo, 99 Chevy S10 w/ airbag suspension(slow as heck 4 cylinder),04 Acura TL Auto(we have a grudge match to settle), and hopefully my friend's Z06. Should be fun. Anybody coming? Anybody coming with friends that have sweet rides?

Well, all who didn't go missed a good time. I got 12 runs in from 10am to 6pm. There were lots of impressive cars there. I met Matt and his girlfriend from the org, so that was cool. There was also a 6 gen Max there, but he never heard of Maxima.org. Matt had the fastest Max of the day, but he didn't run that time until the afternoon. He coulda had a free meal for him and his girl if he would have ran that 14.2 before lunch. By the way Matt, did you ever beat that 14.2 time?
