im going for sure. i think it would be better to have a social event instead of a racing event. we should get to know eachother then we should plan races. Races arent always for everyone. just my opinion

Hey what's up guys, I'm from the Sentra & SR20DE boards.
I'll be at the meet for sure, a social one sounds like a good idea to me, although I am almost always open to most.
Anyway, just wanted to say what's up and everything.. we're all a friendly bunch of people and would be real cool to meet up with other Nissan enthusiasts..
Right now the date's set for October 27th.. any and all input would be great! Talk to you all soon!

very true...but I just though if it's a big crowd...then the odds of people willing to pay the rental fee would be greater...but not all will want to race... |

I was thinking the forest preserve on Oakton & Caldwell in Niles, IL.
There are two preserves that come from both those streets, but the one I'm talking about is the forest preserve on Oakton. It's a huge area with park benches and whatnot.
But I'm always open to other locations. I'm just trying to set things straight! Let me know.

What about a central location like Western Springs? There are a couple of forest preserves over there. One's on Ogden and the other's on Wolf Rd.

planning
since this meet is for every nissan, i would like to suggest doing it on a sunday. everyone has that day off. we could expect a larger turnout. just an idea guys. the more the poeple, the more fun we can have. it may also help us get a club going depending on the turnout. i can be there, just need aday and time.

Sunday is not a bad idea at all..
It's also fine with me, as long as we can get some type of consensus, I have no problem with it.
I'll post that on the Sentra boards and see what everybody else thinks..

Oh.. a Nissan club would sound awesome.. I'm down with that idea!

Another suggestion: Oak Brook Mall. It's a central location plus easily accessible from I-294 and I-88/I-290. Lots of parking and lots of good restaurants.

Oak Brook Mall isn't a bad idea.. but would they let us all hang out there?
Others are already confirming the preserve as an OK spot. We were going to grill and whatnot if that's cool with you guys?
Anyway, the preserve in Niles, IL is called St. Paul Woods.
Located on Oakton and Caldwell, entrance is on Oakton.

Hell Josh it was cold on saturday  so who know's if it'll be grillin conditions on the 27th that's why saturday was pretty good we all shot the shyt...and then after we had an option to go in D&B and chill so I think that will be a good idea...have a place to escape to just in case it's frigid out.....So a nice spot like Gameworks or a restaurant where we can hang afterwards would be cool and we can be somwhere without the threat of pneumonia
