Questions about a ticket...

This mornign I got a ticket for going 47 in a 30 zone. I have gotten one ticket before but I went to traffic school and got it taken off and went on supervision. now that was like 5-6 months ago and supervision is for a year. I got each ticket in a different county and I am wondering if I could take traffic school again? Do different counties share information like if Ive gone to traffic school before or not? also how much would my insurance go up with a ticket? (I am 19 and been driving for like 3 1/2 years with nothing on record except for these tickets... one of which the insurance company never found out about due to traffic school) I live in chicago by the way. If anyone has info that would be great, thanks.

Whats the big deal. Don't even complain about tickets. Just take the 4 or 5 points, pay a little extra insurance and be done with it. I have 22 points at the moment and have managed to keep my liscense. Please, don't whine about nothing.

ticket

I know you will prolly blow this off or say it is a little to late now, etc. I'm not trying to be your parents either, but 47 in a 30 is really moving. Just be more cautious and slow down. In all honesty what kind of time is made by going 47 instead of 30? If you like driving fast go to a track, it is a heck of a lot safer and the whole point is to go fast.

try 86 in a 65 this weekend, Troopers handing out presants early this year. 60$ fine but in KY seems every ticket comes with a mandatory 110$ court processing fee of some kind.

my second ticket in the past two years. last was 81 in a 65 in IL, i just pay them, i am guilty anyway, and hope the insurance company dosent check my record(havent yet antway)

good luck anyway, id suggest getting a lawyer to knock it down to a lesser violation.

Depending on where you got your ticket.
They'll ignore the supervision (at least they did on mine when I used to get tickets many years ago)
I know that skokie used to just ignore the supervision and just fine you again and maybe traffic school (only got it once , actually twice, second time never got there and judge threw it out on Dec 24 th, of course that was also a bail judge not a traffic judge )

a) broaner: IL does not have a points system like WI and many other states
b) Jackboot: If you got a ticket in a county that allows the supervision, you may have to attend an 8 hr course. If not, it's on your record.
