.6 lbs or .5" for track wheels?
Looking for track wheels later down the road and am pretty convinced I'll be doing two 17" Enkei RPF1's up front. My two options:

17x9 @ 15.9lbs

or

17x9.5 @ 16.5 lbs

Which set up would be more advantageous? I'm not sure how a reduction in 1.2 lbs would compare to 1 more inch of tire on the track. Thanks in advance.

tires are going to weigh between 20-25lbs anyway so just go for the wider wheels, .6lbs is not going to make a difference.

17x9.5 +35-38 is PERFECT with 2 degrees of camber in the front. Roll fenders to fit.

Do it, the latter will fit perfect for wide rubber.

By the way, those are NOT the only offsets for those sizes unless they have been discontinued. Pretty sure they were special order, but you can get pretty low...
