Wheel covers or new alloy wheels ?

Hi
here is my deal... I bought my maxima 97 GXE months ago...it came with stock steel wheels and stock 97-99 wheel covers (pretty dirty and dusty)...I discarded them in seconds (dumb ha ??).......tried to look for alloy wheels to fit my maxima ...No body seems to sell nice alloy wheels with 15 inch size (I know 95-96 SE alloy wheels are 15 inch .. but I don't like them) ...I am now with those fugly walmart cheepy covers (they suck really)...my ptoblem is that
-I'm kinda tight on budget
-My car came with really nice and nearly new tires (size 205/65/15) ...I can't sacrifice them easily

So do you advice me to go with :
-Stock OEM wheel covers (or replicas for same desgin) ?
-Searching for alloy wheels size 15 (to save my good tires aaaas) ? do you have suggestions for which 15` wheels ?
-Searching for other wheel covers (not necessary to be Nissan) ? again , do you have suggestion for non-Nissan nice covers that look nice on my 97 maxi ?

you input is appreciated...
Thanks

Here is a list of 15" for the 97 max on tirerack.

I know most of these are probably out of your budget, but you can use this to decide which wheels you like then search for them specifically from other (less expensive) online stores.

edit: I just saw this as well. Maybe you could talk him into shipping them to you.

Start combing the junkyards, you can usually pick up a set for $80 or less.

Try looking on Craigslist, there are people selling wheels all the time, maybe not necessarily Nissan wheels, but a decent aftermarket wheel.
