225/50 vs. 225/45 tires

Is there a big diff. between these apperance wise? Can anyone post a pic of a 225/45/17 on there car? Reason being there is a big price diff. and I cannot find many tires in a 225/50.

Thanks!

i dont have pics. if you got the stock 17'' go with 225-50-17, the rims arent big so you don't need to go 225-45, also im running goodyear eagle gt. in 225-50-17, and no complaints yet. hope this helps... oh and for looks your talkin millimeters of a differance in the 45 vs 50. no real differance imo.

you could always go with 235/45 which would be closer to the outside diameter of the 225/50.

I like the looks of the 225/50 on my stock 03se wheels, but there are not a variety of tires in that size. the 235/45 sounds like it could be an option though! anyone have pics of those??
