opinions on these tires?

i notice d a small chunk missing out of one my my sidewalls, can see a small piece of metal wire in there, figure it might blow out?? so i guess ill just get a whole new set. im not even sure im gonna keep this car more than 6 months, want to lease a bmw, but i guess i ll get some new tires anyway. anyone have any experience with these?

1. sumitomo HTR+
2. sumitomo HTR Z III (wounder how theyll do in the snow??)
3. khumo Ecsta ASX
4. falken 912 ( i had a set of 512 and they have the worst sidewall ever, so soft feels like driving on jello)

High performance summer only tires like the HTR ZIII are downright deadly in the snow. You'd be insane to run those in winter. Do not.

In order to really evaluate your choices though, it'd probably be wise to give us at least some indication of the type of use the car will see and what traits you desire in a tire.

I Had the khumo's on my rolla and they were some nice tires good wet and dry. I however feel that toyo proxy-4's stick a little better in the wet and thats what I have now and Im very happy.(even though I think they have 1 less sidewall ply)I have tried the falken's and I hated them from the day I got them till they were replaced.

well then HTRZ III's are definitely not the tire you want, since they're summer only tires. you'll kill yourself in the snow on them. hell they will be dangerous on dry roads at temps below about 40 deg, that's just the nature of high performance summer only tires.
