I tried wheels with 235/40/18's but had some problems with rubbing. 225/40/18 is a sure bet, maybe 235/40/18.

Its an 18x8 +30. Assuming, its not the Track edition wheels. 235/40/18, would be your best bet, but if you are slammed, you could rub, alternatively a 225/40/18 would suffice, but 225 is a little thin..

FWIW..im dropped about 2.5" on Tein coilovers, i have a finger wheel gap or so, i have 235/45/17, and i rub only on extremely hard cornering..im talking about freeway on/off ramps at 80-90MPH. Our off/on ramps have some nice banking to them, which may attribute more so to rubbing too.

dont they come in a staggered form with the fronts being 225/40 18 and the rear
235/40 18? thats what i had.
put the 225s in the front 235s in the rear. you should be fine.

45 aspect ratio is too tall for 18s if youre running 225 or 235. your speedo will be off and so will your mileage. the closest to oe spec would be 235/40. what are you dropped on? id roll the rear fender for peace of mind. i was rubbing on 235/40 on 18x8 +20. fender roll is probably needed.

nope, but it also depends on how much you're lowered
