Proper Width and Offset to Fit 275's Front and Rear?

Just as the title states, what would be the best widths and offsets for the front and back.

This setup would most likely be used on a 17" wheel and tire.

Thanks Guys!

Stock fenders? I've done it with 17x9 +34, 17x10 +35 and (17x9.5 +38 rear only) but both stick out in the front.
17x10 +35 275/40/17 roadrace tires

17x9 +34 275/40/17 race tires

17x9.5 +38 275/40/17 street tire (rear only)

The 9.5 +38 worked well, minor rub under full compression. Fender roll would correct rub. Never test fitted the +38 in the front, won't clear Z32 calipers. To keep the fronts under the fenders you will need mid +40s offsets depending on the width. I have never test fitted anything in this range so there could be clearance issues on the inside.

Z32 Drifter, Thanks again for the information. Anyone know the minimum width needed to run a 275?

Probably shouldn't put them on anything below a 9" rim, but you can technically fit 275/40s on 17x8s... your car will not handle very well though.

Running 275's in the front would be tricky, especially with a BBK, while getting them to fit under the fenders. I will presume running 275's would be more or less for straight line use? I plan on trying 265/35/18's once i get my 18x8.5's

Yes and No. I need the width for traction in a straight line, but want to match the rears with the same width so I can also use it on a daily basis as well.

I am just trying to find a happy medium. Good point with the BBK I will also have to factor this in.

Why not just get a dedicated set of slicks? 275s all around are a waste for straight line racing, a maxima with that setup deserves to take corners
